Bridal Party

Jennifer Lee - Maid of Honor

Bride's side, Janet's baby sister

When I was 4 my parents told me that I was going to have a younger sibling. Super excited, I waited with anticipation as my mom's tummy grew. Everyone else in the family wanted a boy, but not me. I was desperate for a younger sister. God provided when Jennifer was born. She followed me everywhere, mimicked my every move, and annoyed me to death... hahaha. But that's what little sisters do. We've had our share of ups and downs, but blood is thicker than water, and I can't imagine a better dong-seng. Jennifer is the baby of our family. She's our comic relief, our tester of patience, and our pride and joy. I'm so proud of how much she's grown and matured. My wedding wouldn't be complete without her by my side. I don't say it much, and hardly ever show it, but I love her very much.

Jennifer Kim - Bridesmaid

Bride's side, Janet's BFF and college roommate

Roommates for 2 years at UCLA, Jennifer is my forever friend. It's her unchanging loyalty, boundless generosity, and strength in spirit that makes her so special. I'll never forget the countless hours we spent together, dancing at  our apt (aka Club J), singing karaoke at the top of our lungs, and sharing our mutual love for food and good laughs. Girlfriend can cook up a storm, bullrush you like no other, sing Turbo and Uhm JungHwa songs, all while looking H-O-T. Currently, she's finishing up her final year in law school in San Francisco. For a while we weren't sure if she could make it. But, I can't imagine my wedding without her. I'm so blessed to be able to call her my friend and SOOO happy that she'll be there by my side. I LOVE YOU JENNIFER!!

Judy Yu - Bridesmaid

Bride's side, Janet's BFF and college roommate

I've always believed that our meeting and friendship was God's special plan. I'll never forget the first day of Physics 6B lab when Judy and I first met. Scarred by a mean and nasty lab partner from the previous quarter, I had been praying that God would bless me with someone nice and helpful. As I sat anxiously awaiting my physics lab partner fate, in walked Judy. She had me at hello. hehe. We became instant friends and were roommates for 2 years. My best times in college were spent with this girl, hanging at Club J, noraebang in K-town, and going on spontaneous road trips to Vegas.  Even though distance separates us, our friendship is unchanging. Judy, is currently in graduate school and I'm so happy that she will be a part of my special day. I thank God for that fateful meeting and for our forever friendship. I HEART YOU JUDY!!

Sam Yoon - Best Man

Groom's side, Jason's best friend
Sam and I first met at a summer retreat after 8th grade.  I didn't like him at first, probably because I was jealous he was so athletic, and I wasn't.  But Sam became one of my closest friends throughout high school and more so in college at Penn State as roommates.  He helped me hone my athletic skills and labeled me the most dangerous player on the basketball court (in a literal sense!).  Sam and I have both been through our own difficult times, but we've been there for each other.  Sam has stuck by me when others wouldn't, and I always admired his integrity and honesty.  Aside from the good looks, this brother truly has a tender heart and loves the Lord.  It's an honor to have him as my best man, and I look forward to him being by my side once again.

James Lee - Groomsman

Groom's side, Jason's childhood friend
James, or Jamie-yah! as his halmuhnee would say,  and I go way back to the pre-school years.  As our familes are close friends, we grew up together.  In elementary school, I would stay over his house for weeks: swimming in his pool, playing basketball in his driveway, eating BBQ chips & his grandma's famous BBQ chicken, and watching recorded Simpson episodes.  Good times bro~!  And many more to come.  Years later, we are both here in New York City, as I only work 10 blocks from where he lives.  I'm so thankful for the years of friendship, and excited to have you join me on my special day.

Anthony Huh - Groomsman

Groom's side, Jason's childhood friend

Anthony a.k.a. anth~ my brother for life.  Never did I think this guy would go to China to be a missionary~ but he went with good purpose and look how it all turned out.  Looking forward to meeting her bro.  So Anth and I go way back to sunday school in primary youth group.  This guy would always leave sunday school class early to go to his pee-wee soccer games.  Years later, we used to play football and as I tried to tackle him, he'd drag me down the field for a touch down ... better yet, back on the freshmen soccer team, our high schools were rivals - so during a game I would purposely leave the boy I was supposed to cover, run across field to try to steal the ball away from anthony - of course I sucked at soccer and ate his dust.  Years later, we were proud Penn Staters but streaked stadiums of other Big Ten schools (boo U.Mich).  Good times brother! And many fond memories to come, like my wedding day!  So glad you'll be up there with me on my big day bro~!
